Terms & Agreements

All services arranged between you and Cosmopolitan Travel Service Represents acceptance of stated terms and conditions herein. Please ensure That you read and understand these terms and conditions prior to booking.

Payment Structure: Airline accommodation, will be according to the respective airline's ticketing policies (typically full payment is required within 7 days of reservation).
Deposit/Full Payment - Land
Required; Land only $200.00 per person along with traveler's legal names. Due 45 days prior to departure date. Full payment must accompany all services booked less than 45 days before departure

Form of Payment: Cosmopolitan Travel accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express

Cancellations: All cancellations must be received in writing via fax, email or standard mail. Outside of 45 days, there will be a cancellation administrative fee of $200.00 The following penalties are per person, and will apply for cancellations, received in writing, at 45 days or less prior to departure.

45-31 days prior to departure - 20% of total booking price - minimum ($200.00)
30-16 days prior to departure - 30% of total booking price - minimum ($300.00)
15-8 days prior to departure - 50% of total booking price - minimum ($500.00)
7 days or less prior to departure - 100% of total booking price
All service changes must be done outside of 7 days before departure, a change fee of up to $100.00 pp, may apply - thereafter, no changes can be made.

Air, Ferry and Train Tickets: Are non refundable once issued It is the passenger's responsibility to verify all names and spelling, prior to document issuance. In the event of a change/cancellation, it will be at the sole discretion of the transportation carrier.

Refunds: There are no refunds for any unused portion of the trip while on your tour. All claims for refund must be in writing, no later than 3 weeks after the scheduled travel date.
* In an effort to offer our clients the best value for their travel needs, Cosmopolitan Travel Services (CTS) affiliates with a number of land tour operators for International travel. The above cancellation and payment policies are a guideline for your reference. However, it may be necessary to customize the stated terms and conditions according to the respective land operator's provisions.
* CTS assumes no liability for delays or cancellations of air, tours and / or activities scheduled, nevertheless, we will assist in any re-planning or scheduling that may be necessary.

Travel Documents: Travel documents, including any paper air tickets or e-tickets, are sent by standard mail approximately two to three prior to departure, provided full payment has been received. a service charge is added for documents requested in advance and/or for any overnight delivery.

Transfers: In the event transfers are purchased from airports, piers and hotels, the passenger is responsible for Punctuality on all flights and tour services (up to 1 hour of waiting). Eventual lateness is will be considered No-Show and no refund will be given. Passengers not arriving on designated flights, transfers between airports and hotels will be at passengers own expense.

Baggage allowance: Please check with the respective airline for baggage allowed. In most cases, airlines allow 1 bag per person To be checked in plus a small carry on. Any additional baggage, is the sole responsibility of the passenger.

Travel insurance is available

Please note: A valid passport is required for all travel outside of the United States, and must be valid for a minimum of 6 months after the scheduled departure date

Unaccompanied Minors: Children age 5 through 14 years may be required to use the airline's Unaccompanied Minor service. Additionally, you may be required to pay a fee to use this service, which is usually charged at check-in with specific airlines. Unaccompanied minor policies and fees vary by airline; please check with your airline for specific policies and fees.

Service Fees: We reserve the right to charge a processing fee for issuance of your airline ticket, car rental, hotel reservation, cruise, or tour booking.

CHECK-IN. Minimum check-in time for domestic flights is 1 to 1 1/2 hours; 2 hours for international flights. A Picture I.D. is required for all domestic flights. Passports and visas (when required) are mandatory for all international flights.

RECONFIRMATION. Domestic flights should be reconfirmed in cases of inclement weather situations or if a flight was booked some length of time prior to departure and international flights at least 72 hours prior to departure. . Failure to use any reservations may result in automatic cancellation of all continuing and return reservations.

HOTELS are usually confirmed on a guaranteed payment basis. If you cancel or change plans, please notify your hotel(s) within the time period specified.

TOUR/PACKAGE PRICES are subject to change without notice due to currency fluctuations, tariff changes or increase in operational costs. In addition, group tours/packages are based on a minimum number of passengers traveling: if the number of passengers falls below the minimum required, a surcharge may be imposed on all other passengers.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: CTS and its agents try to secure the lowest possible fare suitable for your travel requirements based on space available at the time of booking, accessible sources of information, and knowledge of agents involved. Please verify the airline Fare Rules for the itinerary you are booking, since some fares are non-refundable and may result in penalties for changes or cancellations. Fares are not guaranteed until tickets are issued. You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your tickets have been issued.

THE TRAVELER'S RETENTION OF TICKETS, RESERVATIONS, TOUR DOCUMENTS, CRUISE DOCUMENTS, TRAVEL AGENCY INVOICE OR BOOKINGS AFTER ISSUANCE SHALL CONSTITUTE A CONSENT TO THE ABOVE AND AN AGREEMENT ON HIS/HER PART TO CONVEY THE CONTENTS HERETO TO HIS/HER TRAVEL COMPANIONS OR GROUP TRAVEL MEMBERS.
